Our team at St. John’s put a great deal of emphasis on teaching children and youth about Jesus in a fun and engaging way. Many programmes, events, courses and clubs are run for those in our church family and also the wider community.
Mums and Tots
On Thursdays our parents and tots group St. John’s Tiny Tots meets at 10am – 11.30am during term time. It’s a great way to catch up and support one another over a coffee and snack. During the session, there’s also a time of singing and a bible story for the little ones to enjoy.

Children
During the 10.15 Sunday morning service we run bible related activities and study sessions for children and youth up to year 9.
Lighthouse
Children from age 3 to school year 4 spend a short time together during each session, then split into two groups for more appropriate and beneficial age-related games, challenges, crafts and bible study.
Pathfinders
Fun activities and a bible study for anyone in school year 5 up to school year 9.
Youth
Our youth group meets every Thursday in term-time from 7.45pm – 9.15pm in the Church Centre. Anyone in school years 7 to 13 is welcome, including newcomers who we love to see joining us for a full evening of games, snacks and a short bible study.
